21st-Century Meditation

Meditation has many proven benefits. It increases serotonin, which influences mood and behaviour (Low levels of serotonin are associated with depression, headaches, and insomnia). Meditation also enhances energy, strength and vigour, helps maintain blood pressure, and hones concentration. Research has shown that just 20 minutes of meditation is equivalent to two hours of deep sleep.

What: Weekly, 30- to 45-minute class meditation classes. We will use the breath as a guide to help switch off the conscious mind and allow your body to rebalance and recharge physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Appropriate for all levels.

In the meantime, try out these meditation practices at home and transform yourself into a calm, centred, and focused person in minutes. The more you practice, the easier it becomes. Appropriate for use before a meeting, during a difficult situation, or just to recharge and empower yourself. These meditations will leave you feeling calm, grounded, and alert.
